- Olayların önce, sonra, aynı anda veya belirli bir noktaya kadar gerçekleştiğini doğru bağlaçlarla göstermek
- when, while, as, before, after, once, until, as soon as ve by the time arasındaki anlam farklarını ayırt etmek
- Gelecek anlamlı zaman cümlelerinde doğru zaman yapısını kullanmak
- Hikâye, talimat, proje planı ve süreç açıklamalarını mantıklı sıraya koymak
- No sooner, hardly ve the moment gibi ileri düzey sıralama yapılarını tanımak ve kullanmak
Konuşma hedefi
Karmaşık bir gün, proje veya yolculuğu 2–3 dakika boyunca kronolojik sırayla anlat. En az sekiz farklı zaman bağlacı kullan ve olayların aynı anda mı, önce mi yoksa hemen sonra mı gerçekleştiğini açıkça göster.
Bu derste dikkat
Zaman bağlacı seçimi yalnızca cümleleri birleştirme meselesi değildir. Yanlış bağlaç olayların sırasını tamamen değiştirebilir. Ayrıca gelecek anlamlı zaman yan cümlelerinde genellikle will kullanılmaz.

When, kısa bir olayın başka bir olayın gerçekleştiği zamanı göstermesi için sık kullanılır.

When, before, after, until, once, as soon as, by the time ile başlayan gelecek zaman yan cümlelerinde genellikle Present Simple veya tamamlanma vurgusu gerekiyorsa Present Perfect kullanılır.
When the client will approve the design, we will begin.
When the client approves the design, we will begin.
Once we have completed the security checks, the platform will go live.
Ana cümlede gelecek yapı kullanılabilir; kısıt zaman yan cümlesi içindir.
Until ve not until farkı
Until, devam eden durumu gösterir:
We will remain here until the final decision is announced.
Not … until, eylemin ancak belirli noktadan sonra başlayacağını gösterir:
We will not publish the report until every figure has been checked.
By son teslim noktasını, until devam eden süreyi anlatır: Finish the report by Friday, but keep the draft private until Monday.
Present Perfect ile tamamlanma vurgusu
Zaman yan cümlesindeki eylemin tamamen bitmesi önemliyse Present Perfect kullanılabilir:
After you have reviewed the document, please add your comments.
Once everyone has signed the agreement, we can schedule the launch.
Present Simple de çoğu durumda mümkündür; Present Perfect tamamlanmayı daha belirgin gösterir.
