1.4 Nazik Katılma, Karşı Çıkma ve Konuşmayı Yönetme

Nazik Katılma, Karşı Çıkma ve Konuşmayı Yönetme

i

Ders hedefleri

i

i

I can see why that option is attractive. However, I am not entirely convinced that it would solve the underlying problem.

Aa

Katılma ve karşı çıkma ölçeği

Güçlü katılma: I completely agree. / That is exactly how I see it.

Kısmi katılma: I agree up to a point. / That is true to some extent.

İhtiyatlı şüphe: I am not entirely convinced. / I am not sure that follows.

Açık fakat nazik karşı çıkma: I see it differently. / I would challenge that assumption.

I agree that the current system is inefficient, but I am not convinced that replacing it immediately is the best solution.

🔤

Tartışma ve konuşma yönetimi kalıpları

I completely agreetamamen katılıyorum
I completely agree that clearer rules would help everyone.Daha açık kuralların herkese yardımcı olacağına tamamen katılıyorum.

I agree up to a pointbir noktaya kadar katılıyorum
I agree up to a point, although cost is not the only factor.

That is a fair pointbu geçerli bir nokta
That is a fair point, and it deserves further consideration.

I can see where you are coming frombakış açını anlayabiliyorum
I can see where you are coming from, but the evidence is still limited.Bakış açını anlayabiliyorum fakat kanıt hâlâ sınırlı.

I am not entirely convincedtam olarak ikna olmuş değilim
I am not entirely convinced that the benefits would outweigh the risks.Faydaların risklerden ağır basacağına tam olarak ikna olmuş değilim.

I see it differentlyben farklı görüyorum
I see it differently because the problem affects each group in a different way.Ben farklı görüyorum çünkü sorun her grubu farklı şekilde etkiliyor.

I would question the assumption thatşu varsayımı sorgulardım
I would question the assumption that younger employees always prefer remote work.Genç çalışanların her zaman uzaktan çalışmayı tercih ettiği varsayımını sorgulardım.

That may be true, butbu doğru olabilir ama
That may be true, but it does not address the long-term consequences.

I take your point; howeverne demek istediğini anlıyorum ancak
I take your point; however, we should also consider the people who cannot work from home.

Could I come in here?burada araya girebilir miyim?
Could I come in here and add one practical concern?Burada araya girip pratik bir endişe ekleyebilir miyim?

May I add something?bir şey ekleyebilir miyim?
May I add something about the financial side of the proposal?Teklifin mali tarafı hakkında bir şey ekleyebilir miyim?

Could you clarify what you mean by a flexible policy?Esnek politika derken ne demek istediğini açıklayabilir misin?

Let us return to the main issueana konuya dönelim
Let us return to the main issue, which is how the change would affect customers.Ana konuya, yani değişikliğin müşterileri nasıl etkileyeceğine dönelim.

Katılma ve karşı çıkma stratejileri

Aa

Güçlü ve kısmi katılma

Karşı tarafın görüşünün tamamına katılıyorsan güçlü bir ifade kullanılabilir:

I completely agree that public services should be easier to access.

Yalnızca bir bölümüne katılıyorsan sınırını hemen göster:

I agree up to a point. The system should be simpler, but reducing every requirement could create security problems.

Aa

Nazik karşı çıkmanın üç adımı

  1. Görüşü tanı: That is a fair point.
  2. Tutumunu belirt: However, I am not entirely convinced.
  3. Neden veya alternatif sun: The same goal might be achieved through a less expensive measure.

I can see why a complete ban seems attractive. However, I am not entirely convinced it would be fair to people with limited mobility. A permit system might be a more balanced alternative.

Aa

Varsayımı, kanıtı ve sonucu sorgulama

Kişiye değil, iddianın temelindeki unsura odaklan:

  • I would question the assumption that…
  • What evidence is there that…?
  • Does that necessarily mean that…?
  • Could there be another explanation?
  • Are we overlooking the possibility that…?

The figures show lower attendance, but does that necessarily mean that people have lost interest?

Could there be another explanation, such as a change in the way attendance was recorded?

Söz alma ve konuşma sırasını yönetme

Aa

Doğal biçimde söz alma

Konuşmacı kısa bir duraklama yaptığında şu kalıplar kullanılabilir:

  • Could I come in here?
  • May I add something?
  • If I may, I would like to respond to that point.
  • Before we move on, could I raise one concern?

Before we move on, could I raise one concern about how the policy would be enforced?

Söz aldıktan sonra katkını kısa ve ilgili tut; ardından Please, go ahead veya Sorry, you were saying… ile sözü geri verebilirsin.

Aa

Nazikçe araya girme ve söz kesilince tepki verme

Acil netleştirme veya yanlış anlaşılmayı önlemek için:

Sorry to interrupt, but I think there may be a misunderstanding about the budget.

Sözün kesildiğinde:

  • Let me just finish this point.
  • I will come to that in a moment.
  • If I could finish, the final part explains the reason.

I will come to that in a moment. Let me first explain why the original estimate changed.

Aa

Açıklama isteme ve anlamı kontrol etme

Açıklama isteme:

  • Could you clarify what you mean by…?
  • Could you be a little more specific?
  • Are you saying that…?
  • When you say X, do you mean Y?

Anladığını kontrol etme:

  • So, if I understand you correctly…
  • In other words, your main concern is…
  • Would it be fair to say that…?

So, if I understand you correctly, you support the proposal in principle but disagree with the suggested timetable.

Aa

Konuyu ana noktaya döndürme ve uzlaşmayı özetleme

Tartışma dağıldığında:

  • Let us return to the main issue.
  • Perhaps we should focus on…
  • That is related, but the key question is…
  • We may be moving away from the original point.

Ortak noktayı özetlerken:

  • It seems we agree that…
  • The main area of disagreement appears to be…
  • We both recognise X, although we differ on Y.

It seems we agree that the service needs improvement. The main area of disagreement is how quickly the changes should be introduced.

Tonlama ve iletişim etkisi

Aynı kelimeler sert veya iş birliğine açık duyulabilir. Nazik karşı çıkmada giriş ifadesini sakin söyle, but veya however öncesinde kısa duraklama yap ve vurguya asıl gerekçeyi yerleştir.

I take your point. However, I think the long-term cost deserves more attention.

You are wrong gibi kişiye yönelen ifadeler yerine I am not sure the evidence supports that conclusion gibi iddiaya yönelen dil kullan.

Aa

Türkçe konuşanların sık yaptığı hatalar

  • I am agree with you. → I agree with you.
    Agree bir fiildir; am kullanılmaz.
  • I do not agree you. → I do not agree with you.
    Kişiden önce with gerekir.
  • According to me, you are wrong. → In my view, the conclusion may be too strong.
    Kişiye saldırmak yerine iddiayı değerlendir.
  • I agree partly with this. → I partly agree with this. / I agree with this up to a point.
  • Cut your word… → Sorry to interrupt…
Türkçedeki sözünü kesmek ifadesini kelimesi kelimesine çevirmeyin.
  • Her karşı çıkmaya but ile başlamak yerine önce karşı tarafın noktasını tanı.
i

Kontrollü alıştırma

  1. Sert ifadeyi nazikleştir: You are wrong. Online meetings are better.
  2. Kısmi katılma kur: Public transport should be free.
  3. Varsayımı sorgula: Older people cannot use digital services.
  5. Şu görüşü kendi sözlerinle doğrula: We support the idea, but the timetable is unrealistic.
  6. Tartışmayı ana konuya döndür: Participants are discussing office decoration instead of employee retention.
Örnek cevapları göster

1. I can see why online meetings are convenient; however, I am not convinced they are better in every situation.
2. I agree up to a point. Free transport could improve access, but it would still need a reliable source of funding.
3. I would question the assumption that older people cannot use digital services. Access and training may be more important than age itself.
4. May I add something about the likely cost of implementation?
5. So, if I understand you correctly, you support the proposal in principle but believe the timetable needs to be revised.
6. The office environment is relevant, but let us return to the main issue, which is why experienced employees are leaving.

Toplantı diyaloğu: Çalışan takibi yazılımı

A

I think we should introduce activity-monitoring software for all remote employees.Tüm uzaktan çalışanlar için etkinlik takip yazılımı kullanmamız gerektiğini düşünüyorum.

B

I can see why managers might find that useful. However, I am not entirely convinced it would improve performance.Yöneticilerin bunu neden faydalı bulabileceğini anlayabiliyorum.

A

Without monitoring, how can we know whether people are actually working?Takip olmadan insanların gerçekten çalışıp çalışmadığını nasıl bilebiliriz?

C

Could I come in here? I would question the assumption that visible computer activity is the same as productive work.Burada araya girebilir miyim? Görünen bilgisayar etkinliğinin üretken çalışmayla aynı olduğu varsayımını sorgulardım.

A

That is a fair point, but managers still need reliable information.

B

May I add something? Clear objectives and regular progress meetings might provide better information without creating privacy concerns.

A

Are you saying that no form of monitoring should be used?Hiçbir takip biçiminin kullanılmaması gerektiğini mi söylüyorsun?

B

Not exactly. I am saying that monitoring should be limited, transparent and directly related to agreed outcomes.Tam olarak değil. Takibin sınırlı, şeffaf ve üzerinde anlaşılmış sonuçlarla doğrudan ilişkili olması gerektiğini söylüyorum.

C

It seems we agree that managers need information. The main disagreement is whether detailed surveillance is the best way to obtain it.Yöneticilerin bilgiye ihtiyacı olduğu konusunda anlaşıyoruz gibi görünüyor.

A

That is a useful summary. Let us compare the alternatives before making a decision.Bu faydalı bir özet. Karar vermeden önce alternatifleri karşılaştıralım.

Okuma ve dinleme: Why Constructive Disagreement Matters

Disagreement is often treated as a sign that communication has failed. In reality, well-managed disagreement can improve decisions by revealing weak assumptions, missing evidence and alternative solutions. The quality of a discussion depends less on whether participants agree and more on how they respond to different views. A constructive speaker acknowledges the other position, challenges the idea rather than the person and explains the reason for any objection. They also ask for clarification instead of assuming that they have understood every detail correctly. When a discussion becomes unfocused, summarising areas of agreement and disagreement can help the group return to the main question. These habits do not remove conflict, but they make it more likely that conflict will produce useful information rather than personal tension.

i

i
